The Brazilian born, New York trained Mihara describes her design style as "feminine and naive" and says she isn’t fond of metal ornaments on shoes, preferring to create her own ornaments out of soft leathers. Designing for Charles Jourdan Bis in Spain, Mihara subsequently produced her own line with her husband/factory owner in Elda. The shoes feature an anatomic footbed, which makes even her high heels shockingly comfortable.
