We love our new web platform, and are really excited to tell you how you'll benefit from it. All of our new features and design elements are based on the many great suggestions of our customers. We listened, and heard that you wanted more functionality. So we invested in the upgrade, and incorporated as many of your ideas as we could…with many more improvements coming in the next few months. You see, customer service is a passion for Barefoot Tess. It's what we're known for. So we hope that after you check out our new website, you'll agree that it gives you a better user experience.
Whether you're a returning customer or brand new to our site, if you want to know what we've done and what is on the way, please read the sections below.
Some of Our Improvements
You will find all of the following improvements on our new website--all things that we couldn't provide to you before. Although the features listed below are only a sample of the upgrades we've made, they are the more commonly requested improvements. We think that after you read this list you'll agree that we heard you loud and clear. If not, please tell us where we went wrong. Let us know what we forgot. 1. Order Tracking. Finally, you can track the status of your orders from your My Account page, so you will know we receive it, when it ships, and when it is supposed to arrive.
2. Product Reviews. Now leaving and reading reviews will be easier than ever! If you have been unable to view reviews in the past, or have had trouble submitting your own, you will love the upgrades we have made. See what others have said about the comfort and fit of the products you are considering purchasing, and share your opinions as well. Every review you leave will be saved in your My Account page, and you will receive a 5% discount code for each one. Not only are you helping other customers make good purchasing decisions, but you are helping Barefoot Tess improve the quality of our products.
3. Returns and Exchanges. Hopefully you have already been taking advantage of our free domestic exchange policy, and the return shipping labels provided in every order, but now we are offering even easier returns. You will receive an email as soon as your return is delivered to our warehouse, so you won’t need to track your package or call to check the status of your return.
4. Denied Payments. Denied payments can be frustrating, but they will no longer be confusing. Next time you mistype your payment information, it will be clear to you that your payment was denied, and it will be easy to correct your mistake or enter a different form of payment. Your order will remain in your shopping cart and you will be automatically directed back to checkout.
As we transition to our new site, there will be some hiccups, but we are working to get everything in working order as soon as possible. The following are some issues we are aware of, and are already in the process of resolving. Contact us if you need any assistance using the site, we are available and happy to help.
1. Account Login. You should be able to log in to the site using your current email address/password combination, but if you have trouble you can click Forgot Password to create a new password for your account.
2. Checkout. You may notice you no longer see the Google Checkout or Amazon Checkout options, but these features are high on our list of priorities and will be available shortly.
3. Gift Cards. We are still in the process of transferring some of your gift cards to the new system. If you do not see your gift card or store credit in your My Account page or on the Payment page during checkout, please contact us so that we may attempt to recover your credit.
